 Description:

An excellent opportunity has now arisen to join the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner team in Leicestershire.

We are looking for a OPCC Caseworker working full-time based at Force Headquarters.  You will be working as part of the wider governance team, providing secretarial and administrative provision to the Commissioner’s inbox and OPCC.

You will be the main point of contact for public queries handling correspondence, telephone calls and managing the public inbox. You will also provide support to the Reviews and Complaints officer offering assistance in collating paperwork and processing complaints and outcome reviews.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing assistance to the Reviews and Complaints officer offering assistance in collating paperwork and processing complaints and outcome reviews.
  • Taking down in note format or shorthand and transcribe non routine correspondence.

 The must haves:

  • To be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language or be able to demonstrate ability to the above level by work experience.
  • Able to assess new information and re-organise to meet new demands whilst maintaining accuracy ensuring adherence to strict deadlines.
  • The ability to develop good working relationships both internally and externally.
