The Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) receives funding from a number of sources including the Home office (Policing Grant and various other grants), the Office for Communities and Local Government (Various Grants) and the Precept (Council Tax).
The PCC distributes this funding to Leicestershire Police to perform policing duties, Partners to aid in the achievement of objectives of the Police and Crime Plan and also the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner to support the Commissioner in carrying out his responsibilities.
