Are you ready to be an Administrator in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner team in Leicestershire?
The Leicestershire Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) are looking for an OPCC Administrator to work full-time on a permanent basis.
You will be working as part of the wider governance team, providing clerical support to the department to meet deadlines and provide a high-quality service.
The successful candidate will have good IT skills, especially Microsoft packages, an ability to be thorough, precise and produce accurate work to meet deadlines, have good interpersonal skills, working well with colleagues, excellent organisational skills and have experience of working in a fast paced, off environment, excellent written communication and letter writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake administrative / clerical work relative to the Team activities in accordance with procedural guidelines.
- Deal with enquiries and correspondence, as appropriate and in particular typing letters and
- Undertake general clerical and administration tasks in support of the office.
The must haves
- To be educated to GCSE Grade C in English Language or equivalent or be able to demonstrate the ability to work at the above level by work experience.
- Competence in Text Production, Word Processing, Excel spreadsheets and Audio transcription.
- Experience of taking notes at and producing minutes for meetings.
