PCC and Chief Constable in Oadby and Wigston

Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Sir Willy Bach will be asking people to divulge their opinions on crime and policing at a special roadshow in Oadby and Wigston.

The PCC will be joined by Leicestershire Chief Constable Simon Cole outside the Sainsbury’s store in Bell Street, Wigston, for the What Matters To You? event on Friday 18 August.

Police volunteers and members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be in attendance alongside Inspector Mike Cawley, commander for the South Leicester Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA), to answer questions from residents about local problems and the community safety work underway.

“This is a fantastic opportunity to meet the people responsible for keeping Oadby and Wigston safe and I hope many people will come along and meet us,” said Willy.

“I relish events where I can get out and hear what local people have to say and how we can improve our service. Much of the positive action we take comes in response to the issues raised at our informal roadshows so it’s not something to be missed.”

The event starts at 1pm. No appointment is necessary – please feel free to attend.
