PCC set to visit groundbreaking knife crime project

Leicestershire’s Police and Crime Commissioner Lord Willy Bach will this week visit a city-based training provider involved in a pioneering project to tackle knife crime across the county.

The PCC will visit E2 staff at Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Centre in Leicester on Thursday 14 December to find out more about their work with young people to tackle knife crime through reeducation.

E2 has successfully applied for a grant from the PCC’s Prevention Fund to deliver its Drop the Knife and Live Your Life project.

During the visit, the PCC will meet project leaders involved in the scheme and young people benefitting from E2’s educational work.
