Police and Crime Commissioner Lord Willy Bach and Deputy Chief Constable Rob Nixon will be hoping to hear what matters to people in Blaby when they take their joint roadshow to Waitrose on Wednesday 5 September.
Members of public will have the opportunity to meet both the PCC and the Deputy Chief Constable plus PC Kal Uppal from the Blaby Neighbourhood Team. They will be invited to share their experiences with those setting policing priorities and give their views on crime and public safety.
The event is being held at Waitrose in Johns Court, Lutterworth Rd, Blaby between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
Public feedback is vital to both the PCC and senior officers as they seek to meet the policing needs and expectations of different communities. The feedback they receive helps to influence where resources are allocated.
Willy Bach said: “These events give members of the public to give the Deputy Chief Constable and me their views on policing in the area. They are always well-attended and is a great opportunity for a real two-way conversation. We all learn something.
“Rob and I will be around throughout the afternoon to chat to people and talk about local concerns. It’s a really great chance for us to hear what really matters to people and what needs to be done to help. If you are in the area please, pay us a visit!”
