Practical Advice and Information available to Parents in New Parks

Parents in New Parks have been offered the chance to get practical advice and information on topics such as crime and health and wellbeing.

A Parents Session at the New Parks Community Hub has been organised by PCC Lord Willy Bach’s office as part of his People Zones initiative. Free of charge, the event will take place on Monday 17 December, starting at 7pm.

The event will consist of short presentations on Drugs; Knives and Knife Crime; and Mental Health issues followed by questions and answers.

Willy Bach said: “When I’m out and about people often tell me how they would like easy access to information, so we are bringing the information to them.  I hope parents in the New Parks People Zone take this opportunity to learn more about the issues that bother them.  I really think it will help everyone who lives in the local community to be aware of potential problems and what to do if they are concerned.”
