Statement regarding New Zealand Terror Attack

I'm proud to be Police & Crime Commissioner for one of the most diverse communities in the country.

When I woke up to hear the appalling news from New Zealand, my heart went out to the many families who would have suffered as a result of this terrorist attack.

I have spoken to the Chief Constable and am assured that Leicestershire Police are doing everything they can to keep our communities safe and to reassure all those who may feel threatened by this outrage.
