On 15 November 2012 residents went to the polls to elect the first ever Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicestershire.
It has now been confirmed that Sir Clive Loader has been elected as Police and Crime Commissioner to represent the views of local people with regards to policing, crime and community safety. He will take up office on 22 November.
