Stories of Kindness |
The project will begin with a call out to our local community for anecdotes of stories involving an experience of receiving simple acts of kindness from someone in their neighbourhood. These stories will be collated together and through collaboration between arts coordinator Jacqui Gallon and two poets/story tellers/musicians, the anecdotes will be transformed into a performative piece. |

A group of residents that attend the local community centre have identified that the green areas within the estate have become uninviting spaces that are primarily used as a cut through to tracel quickly across the estate, as opposed to green spaces that are utilised by the community. The group intends to rejuvinate these green spaces and support those who live adjacent to them to manage and maintain them. The aim is to instil pride of place, reduce the liklihood of crime and give people a purpose by providing them with activity, that will both help with their health and wellbeing as well as upskill the residents in the area. |

Teh aim of this project is to encourage those who do not feel confident to use teh facilities at the gym or swimming pool to access these provisions with support form leisure centre staff and volunteers. We will provide each individual applicant with an electronic card supplied by the Leisure Centre that will prove acccess to ten sessions of either swimming or gym sessions or a mixture of both for a contribution of 50 pence per session from the individual. |

This will be 1x course which will run for three days including an assessment day. The course is for 12 participants. A learner from the cohort will be invited to be part of the steering group so they can feedback regarding activitires, engagement and participation. |
