The Police and Crime Commissioner wants to help homeowners enhance their home security and has recently secured Home Office and Safer Streets funding targeted at residential properties in Oadby & Wigston and Melton Mowbray.
This innovative scheme will be available to selected streets and roads in which home owners can register for free home security upgrades. These include video doorbells, window locks, window alarms and lighting ensuring that homes are more protected against burglaries and also acting as a deterrent.
